Style Options

double hung

Both windows have the ability to open, rather than just the bottom sash.  Plus, the sash can be opened at a tilt.

slider

A window with a movable panel that slides horizontally. The sashes operate by sliding along a track in the window frame.

picture

Stationary, provides natural light.

casement

Hinged on the side and opens outward to the left or the right.

bay & bow

Project outward from a home and offered in a variety of styles & operational options.

material Options

wood

An attractive choice but prone to rot and will likely need repainting.

aluminium

A sturdy, resilient and maintenance-free option however, aluminum has poor insulation capabilities.

fiberglass

Very strong but few color options offered.  There are models available that are essentially wood windows clad with fiberglass.

fibrex

Combines the insulation and durability properties of wood and the minimal maintenance of vinyl.

vinyl
